Q: Where are you located?

A: ABCA Design is located in Upper Bucks, surrounded by Montgomery County and the Lehigh Valley. We offer both Virtual and In-Home Consultations. No worries – we travel to you.

Q: What are your hours?

A: Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm.

We make every effort to fit your calendar, but do not usually offer evening appointments. Samples, fabrics, and finished should be shown in your own space during day light hours to complement the rest of your home and so you get the best design with a pleasing environment.

Q: How do you charge for your interior design services?

A: We source directly from preferred vendors and manufacturers, much like a furniture store, so you get the boutique design experience with full attention to your personal taste and needs.

The cost of design, shipping, and delivery to your home’s installation is all included in one bill – no extra fees or hidden charges. You get peace of mind with the highest quality and attention to detail, while also saving time, money, and costly mistakes.

Our personalized luxury service makes the most of your investment. We also offer design packages and options that may be right for you!

Q: We need your design advice and expert opinion. Will you go with me to pick out finishes for my new home or kitchen?

A: Sure! This falls under the hourly consultation. Sometimes, all you need is a careful eye to make sure everything is coordinated or complimentary to the rest of your home. We have expertise in a variety of areas, including kitchen and bath, cabinetry, color, fine art, and textiles. We offer an initial consultation and design packages.

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum project size?

A: We believe no project is too big or small. While completing an entire room is ideal for us to work, sometimes, the scope of your project is small touches throughout the home. Each client is unique and has different needs. Your health and wellness in the home is our ultimate goal. Give us a call and we can help you determine what may be the best approach for you.

Q: We inherited some beautiful antiques from family. Will you be able to work with my existing pieces?

A: Yes, having a few older pieces is not only special to you, but will add another layer of depth to the whole design. We are happy to incorporate those precious pieces while adding to the charm of your whole house.

Q: We are hosting a party this summer. How long will this take?

A: Since the majority of our products are 100% custom, most projects will take somewhere between 6 to 8 weeks to complete. We like to have everything flawless for you, so you have the least disruption possible.

Once everything arrives, in pristine condition and ready for your delivery, we will set it up in an installation day. That way, everything can be done at one time. From window to floors, no workmen running in and out for days on end. Easy peasy.

Q: Do you offer Complimentary Consultation?

A: Yes, we offer free discovery calls. Since every client is unique, we love hearing about your project.

We may ask you:

  • The overall scope of your project
  • What may be involved
  • Your expectations for the finished design
  • Your style
  • Your timeline
  • How much you would like to invest in your home

Q: Let’s do this! Tell me about the process.

A: First appointment – After the discovery call, we will set up a time to meet in your home. There, we will discuss function, form, products, color, and any other important aspects of your home. We ask many questions while taking lots of notes and pictures, too. You pay a small retainer fee (about 10 % of budget) and then set up a time to meet next.

Second appointment – Design presentation day. This is very exciting for most clients. We go over all the details and elements of the room. You will see a design board, finishes, and samples. We will have plenty of beautiful selections for you, making sure you will love it! At this appointment, you pay 60% down of your total purchase.

Third appointment – Now comes the fun! Usually, this is our last visit. Along the way, we will have given you weekly updates, just to tell you how your project is moving. But once everything is here, we set up a time for installation and the big reveal. Once you see it, we expect you to love it!
